Transforming older marine instruments into cutting-edge Garmin MFD digital dash systems — cleaner, smarter, and built for the water.
View Our WorkMatt's boat came loaded with most of the things he wanted, but there is always room for improvement.
We removed the 6 factory fusion speakers that came with the system.
We added:
8 - JL audio M6, 770 speakers in the bow
8 - JL Audio M6, 880 speakers on the rear sun pad
4 - JL Audio M6, 880 speakers in a custom box at the helm
4 - JL Audio M6, 15" Subs
8 - JL Audio MVI amplifiers for all the regular speakers
2 - JL Audio MHD amplifiers for the subwoofers
6 - Garmin Fusion ERX Color Zone Remotes
4 - JL Audio M6, 880 Speaker Pods
Judd needed some upgraded music on his boat.
We removed all of the old Rockford Fosgate stereo components and upgraded them to a Garmin / Fusion system.
Judd now has a hideaway Fusion headunit, along with 3 wired remotes, so he can control the stereo in different areas/zones of his boat.
We replaced the boring factory installed amplifiers with brand new JL amps. These push MUCH more power and make the stereo sound a million times better.
We linked the stereo to Judd's factory installed Garmin 8212 MFD screens, allowing him visual control of the radio on the Garmin screens.
Finally, we upgraded the software on both of his Garmin screens as well as other Garmin components in the boat. His software was over 9 years old, prior to our software upgrade. Now he gets all the new features, just from a simple software upgrade
For this job, we removed a BUNCH of old Raymarine equipment. The old dash had 2 Raymarine E-120 displays and several old style Mercury/Cummins LINK gauges.
We installed brand new dash panels, custom cut for the new Garmin MFD screens. We removed the old Rarmarine radar modules on the dash, replacing them with custom designed panels. Upgraded the stereo from an old Clarion system to a Garmin/Fusion system. Now the stereo has a remote control right at the helm, as well as allowing full stereo control through both of the MFD screens. Various zones can be controlled on the MFDS.
The real fun part of this system is that we integrated the Garmins into the Cummins Diesel engines. We eliminated the old black and white Cummins Diesel View module and now all of the engine data, warnings, gauges, etc can ALL be seen and controlled on either of the Garmin screens.
Finally, we upgraded Ben's steering wheel to get rid of the older burlwood look and went with a black leather Sea Ray wheel.
GAME CHANGER!
We upgraded the stereo from an older Clarion system to a Garmin/Fusion system. We also removed the older Mercury System View black and white screen, upgrading David to have a full color display with all of the engine data right there in the dash.
The Stereo and the Garmin MFDs all talk on the same network, so he has full color display of maps, stereo and engine data.
Auston's had about everything ne needed, but it needed a little upgrade.
We upgraded the Fusion 770 headunit to the new 800 model.
We reprogrammed his CZONE digital switching to do a few custom things
We also added an automated in floor misting system on the rear of the boat, helping keep the deck flooring cool.
Finally, we upgraded all of his software to the newest versions available.
We upgraded the stereo from an older Clarion system to a Garmin/Fusion system. We also removed the older Mercury System View black and white screen, upgrading Rick to have a full color display with all of the engine data right there in the dash.
The Stereo and the Garmin MFDs all talk on the same network, so he has full color display of maps, stereo and engine data.
Rodney came to us with the same request as most people.... "How can I get RID of this old and nasty Mercury System View???"
Ask and you shall receive!
We removed the System View screen, upgraded the wiring in his boat and built a new custom burlwood panel to match the rest of his dash.
We added a Garmin 8212 MFD, giving him full engine data as well as lake maps, stereo integration, etc.
Finally, we verified that he had the newest Garmin and system software on all of his components!
We specialize in complete helm transformations — removing old analog gauges and installing fully integrated Garmin MFD (Multi-Function Display) systems that give you chart-plotter navigation, engine monitoring, sonar, radar, and more in one clean digital interface. Our specialty is primarily 2000s generation Sea Ray boats with older technology. We are dedicated Grand Lake people, so we love to service fellow lakers and help everyone have better enjoyment while they are boating!
Every installation is done right the first time: clean wiring, proper mounting, and full configuration so you can focus on the water, not the dashboard.
